From the first commission over 30 years ago for the restoration of a Georgian pine dresser to our sleek new Macassar collection, Smallbone has revolutionised the way the kitchen looks and is used forever. In its Devizes workshops Smallbone's team of craftsmen are still executing traditional techniques to produce bespoke, hand crafted design for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and rooms throughout the home.

Innovation and craftsmanship
Reclaimed timber was the starting point for the first iconic country style kitchen created by Smallbone. Smallbone re-invented the hand painted kitchen and changed the role of the kitchen forever with the unfitted kitchen, with dedicated, individual pieces of furniture. Smallbone has been instrumental in the introduction of open-plan living, making the kitchen the perfect space for socialising – transforming mundane units into luxurious hand built kitchen furniture with decorative pieces such as the What-not and Chinoiserie cabinets. Smallbone has set the benchmark for innovative storage solutions and were the first to craft beautifully functional larders, including willow baskets and cool granite shelves.

Complete service and 25 year guarantee
Commissioning all work from one source will ensure your project runs smoothly. With this is mind, Smallbone can manage the design, product sourcing and installation of your entire project, from initial brief to the attentive aftercare service. Alternatively, Smallbone are happy to work alongside your building contractor. A Smallbone Installation manager will be appointed to oversee your project. Together with the Smallbone Customer Services team, he will be available to answer any questions you or your contractor may have regarding the installation of your Smallbone furniture. He will also provide you and your building contractor with a written specification of the positioning of plumbing and electrical feeds.
To ensure the installation is completed to the highest standards, Smallbone furniture is always installed by our dedicated team of joiners and, where appropriate, paint finishes are applied by Smallbone specialist decorative artists. On completion, we will leave your home ready for you to enjoy in comfort and, to give you additional peace of mind, we will provide a written 25-year guarantee.
